Stockholm Transportation tickets

  • Tickets are valid on all modes of transportation: subway, bus, tram, light rail, commuter rail (pendeltåg). It is possible to change mode of transportation during the same journey without buying a new ticket.
  • Single journey tickets permit unlimited travel within the number of zones paid for during 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Text message tickets
Text message tickets are bought by sending a text message to 72 150 with the message text consisting of a 2 letter combination: 
The first letter
 H for full price or R for reduced price.
The second letter

A and/or B and/or C depending on which zones the ticket should be valid for.
For example: For travel at full price within zone A, Text "HA" to 72 150. For travel at reduced fare within all zones, text RABC.  


Requires a cell phone with a SIM card from a Swedish operator
